Trainers

Our trainers are all very highly qualified and have years of experience. Many of them are or have been taxi drivers so empathise with the trials and tribulations of being a driver and recognise that you need to be on the road as much as possible, which is why we can, uniquely, help you get through the necessary exams without you having to go to college.

We are a recognised accredited NVQ delivery centre awarded direct claim status through our awarding body Edexcel. All our assessors are members of The Institute of Learning and currently working to achieve their PTTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) accreditation.

Clare Green

Clare Green is the training coordinator here at Value Cars. She started working for the company in 2007 when Value Cars first carried out BTEC training for Road Passenger Transport. She has helped to develop the training centre and assisted in Value cars getting NVQ centre status.

Her background and training was in the hospitality industry, training at Manchester Polytechnic in Hotel Management and subsequently working for Forte Hotels in various parts of the country, which brought her to Salisbury. She then moved into facilities management at the Old Manor Hospital where she worked for ten years.

With 3 children and busy family life working at Value Cars is the perfect match. Clare assists in ensuring the smooth running of the training centre and liases with assessors, colleges and drivers.

Tony Quinn

Tony Quinn manages our Training centre and our assessor team. Prior to working with Value cars Tony was a Training manager for the Automobile Association. Tony is a qualified NVQ assessor and is currently working toward achieving the Internal verifier accreditation. Tony is member of the Institute for Learning, The Institute of Verifiers and Assessors and the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

Tony’s passion is good customer service and believes that exceeding expectations raises the bar for keeping customers happy and successful achievement of the NVQ demonstrates commitment to recognising the demands on excellent service delivery.

Tony also looks after our sales team. If you would like any information on our training programmes or if you would like to enrol yourself or your team for the BTEC and NVQ programme, contact Tony on 01722 333333 or 07859 902959.
